When you buy for re-sale, the tree is only half the purchase. The other half is whether the next fifty look like the first one. Since 1992 we have grown a single species to a single grade, which is what makes a Conser load predictable: you can quote a customer from a photo and know the tree that arrives will hold up the quote.

What goes wrong sourcing live oaks for re-sale

  • Loads arrive mixed — a handful of good trees carrying a pallet of culls, and you absorb the difference.
  • Trees grown on tight spacing come in tall and narrow. They price like a shade tree and look like a whip.
  • Grade is asserted, not held. "Florida #1" means little if the grower also moves #2 stock out of the same field.
  • Supply goes quiet in the season you need it, and the substitution costs you the customer, not just the order.

Conser Trees ships wholesale live oaks from Alachua, Florida — twenty minutes north of Gainesville and directly on the I-75 corridor, which puts us within a day's haul of most of the Southeast. We regularly supply re-sale buyers throughout Florida, Georgia, Alabama, South Carolina, North Carolina, Mississippi, Louisiana, Tennessee. Florida buyers pick up or arrange transport from the farm for projects in Jacksonville, Orlando, Tampa, Daytona Beach, The Villages and statewide.

What grade are your wholesale trees?

Florida Grades & Standards Number 1 — every tree, every caliper. It is the only grade we grow, so there is no lower-grade stock on the farm that could end up on your truck.

What calipers are available for wholesale orders?

Four inch, 6–6½ inch, 7–7½ inch, 8–8½ inch and 9–10 inch caliper. The 8" and larger sizes are limited in number, so call early if a project depends on them.

Are the trees field-grown or container-grown?

Field-grown. All Conser Trees live oaks are grown in the ground across five farms in Alachua County, Florida, on 12-foot spacing.
